Single light to dark purple, paler color on petal edges, 2-6 per peduncle, rarely 10.
Leaves oval to nearly round, dark green above, usually purple beneath, edges sharply toothed,
upper surface densely covered with erect hairs, may also have sparse long hairs. Standard rosette.
